How one man aims to reduce male suicide rates in the UK, one workout at a time

EXERCISE SAVED MY LIFE

Exercise Saved My Life is a multimedia project exploring how participating in physical activity

could decrease male suicides in the UK.

The television documentary aims to raise the awareness of male suicide rates, whilst challenging the stigma of mental health

Exercise Saved My Life tells the story of 59-year old David Baum, who wanted to take his own life, at the age of 34, following years of traumatic events.

"It just got to

the point when

I was thinking,

 it's not worth it,

I can't handle

this anymore"

- David Baum
